Kanishk Kadam is an emerging creative force in the Indian entertainment industry.
He began his journey in the world of acting through theatre and nukkad natak under
the guidance of renowned theatre director Arvind Gaur, a respected name in the theatre circuit.
Expanding his creative horizons, Kanishk has worked as an executive producer, assistant
director, and actor in multiple short films that have received numerous awards and critical acclaim.
His first feature project, Liberation, under his banner Sure Real Picture, marked a significant milestone.
His contribution to this film was not limited to producing — he was actively involved in casting,
production design, and location planning.
Currently, Kanishk is focused on developing future film projects and an upcoming podcast series,
aiming to bring fresh, engaging, and thought-provoking content to audiences.
Ankit Kadam
Ankit Kadam, Director and Writer of Liberation, added:
Ankit is an independent filmmaker and writer with a background in computer
science. Despite earning both a bachelor's and a master's degree in the field, he
chose to pursue his passion for storytelling through cinema. He has written,
directed, and produced three short films—Roaches (2016), Go Grow (2016), and
The Treachery of Movies (2020). His debut feature film as a writer and director,
Liberation (2026), marks a significant milestone in his creative journey. Ankit is a
regular member of the Screenwriters Association (SWA), India, and has completed
the “Directing Actors” course from Sundance Collab, USA.
